Doesn't work. I've tried it with three laptops and it will power my Xreal One glasses but it doesn't transmit video/audio at all.

Using mine with a Rayneo Air3S. Works without issues, didn't cost an arm and a leg. Length is good enough (your type c cable to the glasses is gonna handle most of that anyway). Build quality is fine, no issues, hasn't gotten crazy hot or anything. No issues with sound or video. For me, it just works. Easy recommendation

Hagibis always impresses me with the quality and durability of their products. I'm definitely a fan so keep that in mind when reading my review. The HDMI TO FEMALE USB C adapter does what it says. I tested it at higher resolutions and it did the job at 60Hz. I am primarily using it for connecting to AR glasses so if it gets me 1080P90 i'm a happy camper.I like that it has a female USB C port instead of a built in cable so I can choose what I want for the quality, stiffness, and length of the cable. It just oozes quality so I'm fairly impressed with it all.Overall this is a recommend!

i liked how small and solid this adapter is it handled 4k 60hz fine and worked when i hooked up my ps5 to a usbc monitor i liked that it’s a female usbc port so i can use whatever cable i want instead of being stuck with a stiff built-in one it only works one way so hdmi has to be the source and usbc has to be the screen it does need extra power through the usbc port too which wasn’t super clear at first but it’s fine once you know that overall if you’re trying to use a regular hdmi device with a usbc monitor this is a good one to have it did what i needed and didn’t give me any problems

This adapter is exactly what I needed to connect my AR glasses and portable monitor. It delivers clear 4K@60Hz video, and the setup was easy as long as you follow the instructions and use a full-function USB-C cable. I appreciate that it includes a power supply port—just make sure you connect it for everything to work properly. It’s lightweight, compact, and compatible with a wide range of devices (I tested it with both a laptop and a Steam Deck with no issues). At $23.99, it’s a solid buy for seamless connectivity on the go or at home

Works great. I'm connecting it to my gaming PC. I have both the Viture One and the Goovis Art HMD and have tried them both. No problems, it works great. I noticed only very slight warmth on the adapter, barely noticeable. Note that you'll need either an HDMI extension cable or an HDMI female/female coupler (what I'm using). You'll need to connect the USB cable (included) to power the USB side of the connection.

What I discovered quickly is that it does not seem to be two-way communication. In other words, you can't connect the USB-c to the source and output to the HDMI. My fault for not checking the details. However, it does work as intended and it works great to connect the game console to a portable screen.

I've tested a few of these with a portable monitor; they certainly use the same chipset as they can be finicky in the same way. Usually, reseating the Type-C connector will do the trick given no display output as it appears to be able to make incorrect conclusions about the connection status.Tested this unit with a portable monitor running 1920x1200 at 60Hz. The adapter takes a fair amount of power for itself and has some trouble powering the monitor. Using a power monitor, it is said to give 1.8-2.1W at 4.6V. Attempting to draw more will cause the portable monitor to reset continuously. Using a lower resolution, reducing the brightness, or giving it dedicated power was necessary. (This is a common trait among these adapters and is not specific to the brand)This one differentiates itself from the others by being more compact. While the integrated cable allows them to achieve that, it's also, arguably a con. Using a mini or micro HDMI port would provide similar form factor and allow the cable to be substituted. In my case, the integrated cable is nearly preferred as I'm always connecting to a regular size HDMI port. If you're having to adapt the HDMI connector to a mini or micro port, the, slightly less compact, triple female competitor may be a better choice.Thermals are fine too. Gets warm, but not hot to the touch. Might get close to hot if you go over 4K@60Hz.Price is inline with or less expensive than competitors. If the integrated cable is tolerable, this is probably the best choice right now.
