It fits well in the hand. I've been using it on natural stone products and it's fine, a bit too fine a grit for my preference. It's doing the job. It probably is better on harder material (porcelain) that doesn't clog up the file.

The diamond grit doesn't last and the handle gave out afther maybe 5 minutes of filling. Honnestly this is not worth buying.

These files are great for deburring both aluminum and steel projects.

I have lots of flat files but they don't obviously work well on curved surfaces. I've tried sandpaper wrapped around dowels but this product works the best for that kind of situation. This is a well-made sturdy product and should last a long time.

Somewhere during a recent move all my files went walkabout. The idea of a diamond file and the quality abrasiveness of the gems appealed to me. So far I haven’t been let down.I had a number of garden tools and things that needed to be sharpened a bit. This file did an incredible job. It quickly cut through the rust and metal to bring an edge on everything that I tried. My only concern (and reason for 4 stars instead of 5) is that I’m not sure it is going to last as long as a good old fashioned cut steel file. After some aggressive use it doesn’t seem as gritty as before. I will continue to use it and update this review if anything changes.
