If you didn’t know there was a recall on the original hatch cord, this is the replacement.No issues, had it for a couple months.

We are going on year 6 of our Original Hatch and the cord had been moved a lot by us so we needed a new one and this one works great and no issues.

Our son got hold of our hatch and pulled the cord so hard it damaged it enough it stopped working. We ordered this replacement, which looks exactly like the original. Our hatch is back up and working again and we have zero complaints. Perfect replacement.

Update: although the cords are not durable and we've replaced them multiple times, I increased my rating to 5 stars soley for Hatch's customer service. Hatch reached out and offered a full refund.We are on our 3rd cord for our hatch light and I'm not impressed. Number one, I'm surprised this children's item is not sturdier and two, why are the replacements so expensive? It's really frustrating to buy an expensive nightlight/noise machine and have something as simple as the plug in fail multiple times over. It made it work though and we didn't have to buy a new noise machine so I gave a star for that.
