I've purchased a couple other enameled cast iron cookware pieces from this manufacturer (Hawok) with much satisfaction and joy. When I saw these smaller skillets with magnetic trivets for half off... I just had to buy em to add to my ever growing enameled cast collection.I purchased them in the color "yellow", which is more banana or a pastel yellow. I absolutely love the color, though Id prefer them to be a little more brighter or for them to have a little more color pop. The added trivets are nice, made of bamboo, lighter in color (again, would prefer a darker verision) and the magnets firmly hold the skillets in place which is a very good thing.The size of the skillets are slightly underwhelming, I saw the measurements listed but in person they just look smaller. I think the measurements don't include the actual size of the cooking surface and only counts the skillet at its widest point. The curved sides seem to add 1 whole inch to the total width of the skillet, but the only benefit to added side width is to hold more fluid when cooking with or in liquids. In summary, these skillets will only hold one large chicken breast or a single 6oz sirloin at most... Personally I don't believe their size would be sufficient enough for au grauten to which was my purpose for purchasing this set. I'm not too upset by this since they can be used for garlic confet and are just wonderful to have as a part of my collection.Additionally, I would like to mention that the inside of the skillets look very glossy but is they are NOT enameled, which the items description does not mention. I could personally tell per stock photos before buying but... for others who don't know better, this lack of detail in the items description could cause a possible issue for buyers. These skillets are technically "pre-seasoned", but I always by religious practice, season all of my raw cast iron cookware before first use and... consistently maintain after every use thereafter... regardless if it's so called"pre-seasoned", better safe than sorry.Overall, these skillets seem very well made... They're thick and feel durable, the price is unbeatable and the quality is on par with the big name brands. Would love to see a larger size and more variety in color options, perhaps enamel on the inside for easier clean up and less maintenance.

These cast iron dishes are great, but the package insert confuses me. The description indicates that these are "preseasoned and ready to use" however the package included instructions to season before first use.To be safe I seasoned per the instructions, pretty much a no brainer.Regardless of the confusion, these thing are terrific!

Exactly as described. Just a really wonderful, useful set of cast iron dishes that I heat up in the toaster oven while I grill steaks, then put the steaks on the hot dish & it sizzles & keeps the steak hot for the whole time you're eating it. I feel comfortable cutting the steak while in the dish as I think cast iron is tough & the steak knife will not mar it. Plus the magnet board is wonderful to put under the hot dish, then onto the placemat on the table & no fear of any damage. The price was right. It is easy to hand wash them. Plus the yellow color is cute.
