The back shell is adjustable so the torque is important. Internally the screw clamps are labeled +- and gnd. Recommend using a thick cable for best seal or silicon.

Wanted a plug for my boat for my Diawa Tanacom 750 that had alligator clips on it. This works perfectly for my boat and will be buying another!

If you have an new boat (later than 2015) this plug is perfect for downriggers, etc. It will match up perfectly with factory installed outlets on new boats. Cheaper than West Marine.
