Worked for only 30 mins, wouldn’t work in the car I wanted to put it into turns out it only works in 2005+ vehicles so I put it on my 2008 Chevy cobalt and it was actually really nice then it just went black and won’t turn on

My instrument cluster stopped working so I was unable to see my speed, rpms, engine temp. and fuel levels. The display is legible and works. Start up is decent with about 30 secs of startup. It also turns off with the vehicle. It'll work with obdII. I havent had it for long but it works well.

I purchased this because the vehicle I own has a speedometer that is in kilometers. Upon arrival I did a quick review of the manual, mounted it where I found best suited to my needs and plugged it into the obd outlet. The unit has a lot of features and display options which I set up to be a digital speedometer in mph.My thoughts on this item, super easy to install, does everything it’s supposed to and is an excellent bang for the buck.

Highly highly highly recommend these for anybody who drives a vehicle that does not have gauges. And what I mean by that is a car that only has lights on its Dash that light up once something has gone wrong.Car one this was my girlfriend's 1999 Buick LeSabre and I was driving it home one night and noticed that it was only getting up to 150°. So I don't know how long it had been like that but without this gauge I wouldn't have never known that the thermostat was just stuck open and the vehicle was never getting up to proper operating temperatures.Car number two: 2006 Scion XA I noticed because of this heads up display and my extreme paranoia of overheating that on really really hot days my car was getting up to almost 212 degrees and not coming down. So with that knowledge I assume that either my water pump was going out the coolant was not good anymore or not mixed properly or my thermostat was having an issue. So instead of tackling all three of those problems separately I flushed the system put in new coolant new thermostat and a brand new water pump in my photos you can see my car currently and I even have a sample photo of a check engine light and it's diagnosis page.If you don't own one of these and your car doesn't have gauges, you need to get this now. I'm not a salesman for this company. Just an extremely satisfied customer. I highly recommend getting one of these devices to plug into your OBD2 reader

The speedometer in my 1979 El Camino didn't work after I swapped an engine/trans from a 2000 Silverado, because there was no output on the new transmission for the mechanical speedometer. There's a box to convert electric to mechanical, but it costs $350. So I tried this. It works great! I get speed, voltage, and coolant temp. I made a little mount for the top of the steering column out of crafting plastic that you soften in hot water, and used double-sided tape to hold it. I had previously tried a GPS speedometer, but it takes too long to sync up each time you start the car, and the delay to update the speed is too long. This doesn't have either of those problem.s

I love it! Right now there is a back order on parts so there’s no way I would be able to get the $300 part to replace the light in my dash, this was a perfect replacement. I glued a little bit of Velcro to my dash and a piece on the bottom of the device and it sits nicely in the corner at my Dash not obstructing any view. I drive a hybrid , so sometimes it will shut off at a stoplight if the stoplight is long… Just have to push the button when the car engages and it comes right back on.
