Notes:
1. This kind of gun can not adjust the temperature but it heats up quickly at about 200°C-300°C theoretically.
2. Therefore do not blow your Polymer Clay Works at one position for a long time to prevent distortion.
3. This heat gun is not a High Power one due to its 300W low power. But it is great for heating shrinkable film, embossed powder, rubber stamp, the best choice to replace toaster or oven and the polymer clay will become hard and bright after using the gun.

So I bought this half off on Black Friday, so I'm OK with not being thrilled with the performance. Whatever may be the case with the other hotter models, this one is a bit weak. It's able to do heatshrink with no problem but I was hoping for use with solder seal/heatshrink with internal solder integrated. It doesn't get hot enough to melt the solder. So, it's fine for the shrink, which is good and still useful, but not strong enough for the next step up in heat. The 350W version might be so but not here. Other than that, I think it's a decent basic unit that should be fine for it's power envelope appropriate tasks.

I have ordered three of these heat guns. I still have the first one an it's working fine. I ordered the second one and after the third or fourth usage it overheated and cut off. After it cooled off, I was able to turn it on again. I sent it back and ordered another one. The same thing happened. It over heated after about the third usage and began to smoke. The first one is still working.

I dislike this heat gun a lot! Unfortunately the one I loved is no longer available for purchase. This thing shuts off a lot, extremely prematurely, due to being overheated. I wouldn't think that 25 seconds should be enough time to overheat a heat gun. The casing feels cheap. It makes a lot of strange crunching type noises while it runs and sometimes the standard heat gun noise sounds labored.The only thing I like is that you cant accidentally burn yourself as there is no metal exposed on it like some of the larger more costly ones.I would not recommend buying this.

I use it for my acrylic pours. Safer than my butane gun. Long cord gives more flexibility when using.

Only used it once so far. Didn't blow my embossing powders away which is great. Heated up pretty quick but the body stayed cool. It's my first heat gun so it was larger than I expected. Great for heat embossing, but there's probably other uses too. I like the two settings, but haven't played much with it yet.

I really appreciate how long the cord is, when working with crafts if y’all are like me you need room to move around and this heat gun has a nice long cord. It heats up fast and has 2 heat settings.I have used it on a few projects now and have been very happy.
