These are really heavy duty and the wires are nice and flexible. It's claimed to be good up to 1kV, and I've tested it to 1kVDC for 20 seconds and there was no evidence of failure. One end of the hi-pot tester was connected to the banana plug and the wire and clips were laying on a metal plate connected to the other side of the hi-pot tester. The tips of the plugs are covered in plastic like the good ones so one can't accidentally get a shock when disconnected from the meter. They aren't Pomona, but neither is the price!

The alligator clamps are pretty good. They are well insulated and I trust that I wont get shocked when using these around high voltages.I do think that the wires could be one gauge heavier. They call these "heavy duty" but I personally do not consider 18ga to be heavy duty.Also, they could be a bit longer. At 3ft, that requires you to keep your meter very close. Therefore, I like these but there is room for improvement.

It was a tighter fit than I expected in my Fluke 79 Series II multimeter. The outer diameter is identical to the original probes I have, I’m not sure what is different about them. The tight connection certainly doesn’t prevent them from being used. These are a great addition to my very old multimeter. The cables are as flexible as my original probes and the material feels similar, they really feel nice. The tight connection is minor, everything else is positive. I hope these last as long as my original probes (30+ years old).
