These are okay but not as good as I'd hoped. They don't crimp the j clips down tight as I wanted. I've had a pair of these in the past that were able to clamp the clips tight where they didn't really move. These do not do that.Over all okay in a pinch but I wouldn't buy again

This is the best rabbit clip or J clip plier that I've used. I bought 4 different pliers and this is the best.

I purchased another set of pliers for this purpose. The first one had a very nice hand grip and worked decently, but I like this less fancy one better. This black-handled plier crimps the J-clips somewhat tighter than other "fancier," pliers with more ergonomically-looking handles. While they don't look as comfortable, the truth is they work well and are decently comfortable. Again, they crimp the J-clips a bit tighter and still can handle clamping two wires together without losing one of the wires in the process.If you don't care about a tighter crimp, any of the pliers out there will probably work. I prefer this pair.

To get the J clips into the pliers , I had to force them hard wide open , so I could put them in.The pliers will not make the clips tight and the clips will be still lose and slide.The pliers are made good and will roll the J clips.
