Maybe I'm not a bolt cutter expert, but I missed that these only open to barely ¼", if that.Yes, I saw they are 8", but that only gives you a hint to the leverage.Perhaps you wouldn't want anymore than ¼" with 8" bolt cutters.But other than that, they seem just fine.
