For hanging-style shelf brackets, you almost can't get heavy duty enough, but these are decent. I had a unique situation in the garage which required this type of bracket, and these were about as thick as I could find. They are certainly not designed for heavy loads, but I found them very useful to help get some lighter stuff onto shelves that were high and out of the way. Nice color and finish, too...not that I really cared...they're in the garage...but I'd be ok using these anywhere in the house.

Very sturdy, used for two live edge shelves that are very heavy and they look great without detracting from the main show, the shelves. No sign of failure and I put them up over a year ago.

I attached these brackets to the roof rack on our camper to hold the mounting bracket for our awning! Thousands of miles later, and the are as straight and sturdy as the day we put them on!
