excellent build quality, works very well. Nice and sharp to cleanly trim my boxwood hedge without damaging the plant tips, a common problem I've had in the past with one of those 'big brand' names.

This DEKOPRO cordless hedge trimmer has completely changed my attitude toward yard work - the 20V battery gives me plenty of power to tackle my entire hedge line without dealing with extension cords or gas mixing. The 20-inch blade cuts through thick branches cleanly and the lightweight design means my arms don't ache after trimming, making what used to be a dreaded chore into something I can actually finish in one session.

I have an electric trimmer for which I don't have an extension cord that can take me everywhere I need, hence my looking for a battery version, and I'm glad I stumbled across this one. Never heard of the name brand before but it looked like it could meet my needs.After spending a day with it, here's what I like: The ability to twist the handle so the blade can rotate different planes making it easier for vertical cuts. The safety plate and separate trigger are intuitive enough to realize both need to be activated at the same time (more on this later) to be activated. Was able to get through brush and small branches with ease. Had difficulty with thicker branches (which was to be expected). As the motor mechanism is slower than my electric trimmer, I found myself having to slow down quite a bit to make clean cuts.What I didn't like: The cover plate for the blades is insanely difficult to put back on. Like really guys? You couldn't have just made a full sleeve LIKE EVERY OTHER COMPANY PROVIDES? Someone is gonna get a nasty cut. The motor is slower than electric requiring you to significantly slow down your movement to get clean cuts. The double trigger mechanism removes the ability to operate the trimmer with just one hand. When battery locked into trimmer, the power level indicator is not easily accessible/viewable.I estimate the first use to have run around 34 minutes before it stopped. The second time, 26 minutes (but I think it's because I got into a rhythm with it and kept it continually in use without pauses that may have affected the original run through.Although I list a couple negatives, I'm really pleased with this trimmer, especially getting to clear areas that haven't been cleared in years. Recommended.

This DEKOPRO trimmer works as advertised; I used it to trim the hedges in my small backyard, and it did a great job. It's lightweight and easy to maneuver, which is perfect for my cramped city lot. The battery life is pretty good, but I wish it came with a second battery for longer jobs. Overall, it's a solid choice if you've got a small yard.

Easy to handle, maneuver and use. Got this for use at my new home which has bushes everywhere and this has been an absolute must have for helping me maintain the shrubs. It cuts easily, is very light, and feels solid and well built. Super happy with this

I really like this hedge trimmer. I already have a gas trimmer and an electric pole trimmer, but both of those are heavy and not ideal for many jobs, so I jumped at the opportunity to get this one for review. With its fairly small battery I was a little worried that it wouldn’t be able to power through dense foliage, but it’s absolutely not a problem. I trimmed an entire row of seriously overgrown privacy bushes, then went on to clean up 2 more bushes and a bunch of tall weeds in an area where I can’t easily use a string trimmer without damaging ground-cover plants. After all of this, the battery still showed a full charge, and it easily handled all of the material I was trimming. I love that this trimmer is light enough that you can use it for a while without your arms getting fatigued.I do have a couple of minor complaints. The battery level indicator is really nice to have, but when it’s mounted on the trimmer it faces away from you, making it a little harder to check the level. Also, the blade protector is somewhat tricky to slide back onto the blade after you’re done using it. Finally, one of their safety features requires both hands on the trimmer when it’s running. This is probably a smart design, but it precludes you from holding it with one hand to reach further, and it’s light enough that you could do this if you didn’t have to be holding the second safety switch with your other hand. I’m not docking my star rating for any of these things because they are minor compared to the value and ease of use this trimmer brings to my yard work. It’s a great little trimmer and it works really well!
