I would like to trim the shrubs in my yard because of the extreme fire danger here in California. But every time I go to use this Husqvarna it won't start without an ordeal of pulling on the start chord dozens of times. Then it sputters and dies and won't start again. I have spent hours trying to start the 322HD60 and get it to run. When it finally runs, it stumbles when opening the throttle. Maybe I should thank the California Air Resources Board for implementing unreasonable emission standards on 2 cycle garden devices, or the California special formulation gas, with a low volatility, that won't ignite. My opinion of this hedge trimmer: "Don't waste your money on this expensive piece of junk".

Use this for hedges and clearing brush and even grass, reeds, etc. I also own a brush cutter and have found this to be a nice supplement. Lightweight for a machine of its power. I need to rest after an hour but I am 75. It cuts everything in one swipe though so I seldom need to work more than this. It has cut my hedge cutting time by more than half.You can fill the grease reservoir with a grease gun using the zerk valve or any way you please using the traditional screw type port.Practice on less noticeable bushes first and be slow and deliberate until you get use to it. It is sharp and fast and unforgiving. I love the adjustable handle and easy start.Four years now, over 40 hours of use, no complaints.

Over the years, I have gone through three or four box-store plug-in type hedge trimmers. Those cheaply made brands, with their plastic gears and small motors, easily jam on even the smallest branches and twigs in our hedges. So, instead of buying yet another low-quality hedge trimmer from my local superstore, I invested extra money in the Husqvarna 322HD60.Previously, we would spend hours working on our hedges (we have quite a few across our small farm). However, when we used this new trimmer, we blasted through the hedges as if they were barely there. Seriously, this trimmer moves through hedges with almost zero resistance.It's a beast and makes quick work of any task. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Love this Hedge Trimmer in short...IT'S A BEAST!!!Setbacks, I was provided with a tube of grease, the manual doesn't say what it's for. The manual says "don't overfill the gearbox" the manual leaves it at that. What is over fill? There is a zerk fitting for grease, again no information about what's full or not!!! Does the unit come ready to use? Again, NO information about that! I've been using it straight out of the box with NO issues. I'll need to go to a dealer and get the information the manual doesn't make clear.
