I my horses had this in their pasture for an afternoon. It’s a 20 year old quarter horse and a mini… I found it like this when I brought them in from turnout. I am so disappointed with the quality of this item. The zipper that attracted me to this product is in tact; It was a seam that gave out. I would like a refund- it’s already in the trash.

This is a smaller ball that doesn't include the cover. It inflated easily and my yearling colt enjoyed it for a couple days before obliterating it which is longer than some balls have lasted.

I really wanted to like this ball! If it had worked out, I would have bought a couple more. The foam liner that goes inside of the cloth liner was covered with what looked like dog hair when it arrived(kept it anyway) After 10 minutes of dog play, several seams on the cloth cover split open (no, not over filled) returned and really disappointed😟

I purchased this herding ball for my 4-1/2 -month-old Border Collie after carefully researching the ones currently available on the market. I took a chance on this one, based upon the description and was not disappointed! It is sturdy enough to stand up to my puppy, and has proven to be great fun, while providing a good way for my pup to release energy and to practice his strong herding instincts. Upon first introducing it, I kicked it myself all around the yard, circling in all directions and used the word "push" with each kick. Initially my pup wanted to 'attack' and bite at it or step in front of it to block my kick in order to play "keep away," but I continued punting the ball around and saying "push." Within a very short time my puppy began jumping on it and then started to push it, too, with his paws. The more that I praised him with "Good push!" the more that he responded with the appropriate play!! Now, as soon as our back door swings open, he is leaping and bounding toward the ball. The ball is a great size for herding, simulating the size of a sheep; at the same time, my younger pup can handle it okay amd will soon completely grow into it.Because the ball is exceptionally well-padded to protect the core and to prevent air leakage, I have not needed to add more air so far, despite vigorous, regular play.I noticed in item descriptions for other herding balls that the balls had a vinyl cover and replacement covers often were needed due to tearing and wear. On one hand, I could see how a plastic-type cover could tear but, on the other hand, I thought it was to make it water-proof. But THIS ball has a cotton-polyester cover that (so far) appears durable while it also offers the advantages of being soft and breathable. It dries quite quickly and doesn't appear heavily soiled, even though it remains outside in our yard. The cover can be removed and washed if necessary. It has a flat, wide handle that is very helpful when transferring it to another location.I am overall satisfied with my choice, and our puppy is "having [herding] a ball"!

My horses love this ball!! Seems really durable! I didn't put the cover on it and it was just fine granted my horses are in a dry lot. If they were somewhere with poky weeds I would diffidently put the cover on. It was really esay to inflate. The pump it comes with does take a while to use so I just used an air pump we had. Highly recommend!

Paid $70 for this “unpoppable” ball. My dog popped it in 15 min. Biggest waste of money. Should’ve just grabbed a ball from the dollar store.
