L'adaptateur D-TAP est pratique pour les setups vidéo qui nécessitent une alimentation continue.Le câble semble robuste et la connexion est stable, sans faux contact. La compatibilité est excellente.C'est un bon accessoire pour du tournage prolongé.

Good quality Dummy Battery from Hersmay made from good materials.The overall quality of the dummy battery is not excellent BUT it does not need to be as the main part will be in your camera battery compartment. The quality is more than good enough for its intended purpose so it all comes down to if it works or not?I am glad to say this works and works very well I have been using it with three different brands of v mount batteries one a Neewer brand and it works with no issues at all. I have been using it on a Panasonic Lumix S5 mark 2 and even tho it is not listed I tried it on a Panasonic Lumix G9 mark 2 as I know it uses the same battery as the S5 mark 2 and I am happy to say it works as I thought it would which is a big bonus for me personally.Very easy to setup and use it will take less than minute even if you have never used a dummy battery before, insert the dummy battery into your camera there will be a slot/latch I am not sure what you call it on your camera you move it out of the way so the cable can go through and you can then close the camera battery door, and then you just connect the D-Tap adapter into your v mount battery and press the button on you v mount battery to turn it on and that is it, your camera will now have power it really does not get any more simpler than that.The coiled cable is strong and in my opinion can be stretched to a good length as you really won’t every really need the v mount battery to be that far away from the camera any way.Overall I am very happy with the dummy battery.

I have read some reviews of people that say it feels cheap. It's a blank battery. It's not going to feel as solid, or have the same weight that an actual battery will feel. So yes, it does feel like an empty piece of plastic, which is exactly what it is and supposed to be.On the other end of the cable, I do find that the dtap connection is a LITTLE loose fitting. I would like for that to feel tight an snug, but it doesn't feel like it will just fall out on its own or anything, so it's fine.

Tener la posibilidad de conectar la cámara a una batería v-mount es muy cómodo y permite tener la flexibilidad de estar grabando por mucho tiempo sin preocuparse de tener que estar cambiando las baterías de la cámara que normalmente duran poco tiempo.Lo compré al mismo tiempo que dos baterías Neewer para usarlo con ellas. En una de las baterías, el Dtap se ajusta mejor, pero no siempre funciona, probablemente problema de la batería,En la otra batería sí funciona, pero el conector queda flojo, por lo que si le doy la vuelta a la cámara se zafa y desconecta.No tengo baterías de otra marca, por lo que no estoy segura si es problema del conector dtap o de la batería en sí.

It is nice to have portable power for really long shoots. I have found that D-tap batteries work very well for long shoots,, so I bought this adapter. I plug the dummy battery into the camera and then into the battery. I can now shoot for hours or all day.

I guess this cable is alright. The connection part of the cable is quite cheap and doesn’t stay in the battery's pins. So I purchased black tape to wrap it around the battery which sucks but at least it stays put.
