I've used this for multiple projects. Most recently I had it on my coffee table while blasting a piece of metal with a heat gun. My table didn't get hot at all.

So I bought this a couple years ago but I didn't use it until now....this blanket is amazing......so I'm soldering 3/4" copper inside a floor with r30 insulation, electrical wire, sheetrock and saw dust particles surrounding the pipe....I used the yellow map gas and I blasted the torch onto the pipe and onto this blanket and not a single mark or burn or anything anywhere......the only thing was when I was burning the blanket there was black smoke coming from the blanket I blew air from my mouth to make it go away...I highly recommend this blanket

Bought as gift to use on grill outside during cold winters. Kept grill warm and working even when below 0 degrees outside.

I bought this item in October finally got a chance to use it I was welding a part on my motorcycle put underneath to protect the floor and when I was welding the sparks from the welder burned a hole right through this thing so I would not recommend it for I believe it is not as advertised. Sorry for the bad news but it is what it is and it isn't what it is. LOL junk

Amazing! I used while renovating my fiberglass shower's water valves. I used a high power torch for soldering the new pipes and it was aimed right at the shower and the wood framing much of the time. No signs of the heat at all!(I should mention that I used it doubled!)

Bought this sheet / blanket to use for making windscreens. This material is perfect in thickness to make a windscreen that also enables me to pick up a hot pan. Also can be used as a protector under the stoves to eliminate surface damage and keep the stove from melting into the snow.
