Hillman 41298 pan Combo Hollow Wall Anchor
From the Manufacturer
Primarily used in drywall, the hollow wall anchor is a medium duty fastener. Once the body of the anchor is installed, the screw can be removed and items can be changed without disrupting the anchor. The tip has a drive point to pierce drywall easily.

Great value. I use for 1/8" thick RV wall panel.

Bought a pack to secure a clothes hook rack to a hollow door. Pricey for what they are. They are difficult to work with but do work when you finally get it to work properly. The reviews are right that it is tough to get the cage to start collapsing, the tangs just gouge the surface so you have to hold the flange with a plier while tightening the screw with a screwdriver, and the nut does strip out if you turn the screw too quickly - I had to go through three of them before I could get one to work. Thankfully the nut strips before the cage starts collapsing so I could pull-out the molly and try another. Ended up spreading the cage slightly before inserting it into the hole so it wouldn't need as much force to collapse. Still, these are only thing I could find that will securely attach things to a hollow door.

This size anchor is perfect for installing robe hooks on hollow doors. Not appropriate for wall board walls or any other thicker surface. They are high-quality; my only complaint is they are pricey.

I needed to hang things in my RV without 3 inch long bolts. These were perfect, because there are only 1 inch long. Iām able to hang shelves and miscellaneous items. The small grips on the side of the screw have bent fairly easily when screwing into the wall. Push it in first, then screw in slowly.

Bought these to hang shelves on a hollow core door. Anchors of this size are getting harder to find at local stores. They are the correct length but the metal tabs that bite into the surface to hold it while tightening, bend very easily causing them to spin. The only way I was able to install these was to hold the head with some needlenose locking pliers. They are name brand, they quality has just gone down.

Use these to solidly reinstall my hanger on the inside of my bathroom door. Really made a strong connection.

They work perfectly IF you can keep them from turning as you screw then in the the correct tightness. The simple tip is: Lightly tap them into the material you are inserting them into so that the two small points on the inside of the exterior rim are grabbing into the wall or door's face that you are mounting them in. Then, the two points will keep it from turning while the screw pulls the rear tightly against the inside of whatever it is inserted into. Suggested: Don't use a power screwdriver to prevent overtightening. I mounted a heavy full-body mirror on the inside of a door using eight anchors. Two each top, bottom, and both sides. It will last a very long time.

They don't have the grip range for half inch sheetrock but they work great to mount hooks on hollow core doors.

The screw consistently stripped out before the anchor was seated properly. It took three anchors before I got one to work. After hanging my two pictures I threw the rest away.
