I would have love the bracket to work since the lock seems to be high quality. However, the cheap plastic quality of the bracket does not hold the lock in place and may fall as you ride. There is no "lock" mechanism to keep the lock in place in the bracket while riding, and the weight of the lock would certainly make it fall. Going back to vendor.

Let me start off by saying, this lock is extremely heavy duty and, well made. But in my opinion, this lock is much too heavy for your regular bicycle. This is probably more suitable for an E-bike or motorized scooter. Something that has a little more power, other than pedaling) to handle the extra weight. But I would definitely recommend this, to anyone that falls into the appropriate category.

This item arrived at my door very quickly and it came professionally packaged everything was wrapped individually the box was nice and professionally done this company is a reputable company for all things ebike. I like the way it's designed and if you have a bike where the tubing is very slender then this apparatus for fastening to your bike itself while not in use is a great idea but unfortunately my bike the tubing is of a bigger size and it cannot be fastened to it but that's okay the lock itself is a great deterrent. That being said it is exactly what I said a deterrent it's not a foolproof lock I don't believe that there is a lock available that is not able to be compromised. If somebody wants to break in to your bike they will so the key is to deter them with this much deterrence as possible to make it seem less appealing to steal and this does a great job of that in combination with my other chain lock. If a person has some time and tools they can just simply drill one of the joints and voila this bike is out and you can ride off with it but if you use this in conjunction with other methods it will definitely make your bike look less appealing of a Target to steal. I like the design I think the combination lock is stronger than most combination locks I've seen for e-bikes it was really easy for me to change the combination to something more suiting to myself and I love the way that it latches very easily and once you input the correct combination it unlatches super simple my other combination lock you have to work at it to get it to disengage after you put in the correct combination which just eats time that's all it's not a biggie but there is a big difference between others and this locket is very functional and well thought out. Do I recommend this lock? Of course I do this is a great lock and a great deterrent. I would say that it is simple for children to use an elderly person could operate this very easily anybody with half a brain could use this without a issue I think a chimpanzee could probably use this and not have any issues. I do recommend it and put it above other similar locks that I have had the opportunity to work with.

Bike lock works well and is sturdy. Just be aware that the attachment piece the hooks the lock onto the bike (when it's not in use) is a bit cheap. I went to go move the lock holder to a new bike and I can't because the screws (that tightens the holder on the bike) is stripped. I barely tightened it when I put it on so the metal must be really soft. I'd say, it's a good lock *if* you don't want to move it to a new bike.
