If you order electronics on Amazon, you will occasionally get a bad unit. This one works, but the electronics don't match well with the copier, hence, false error messages. I can make it work, but for how long? The bad electronics could freeze the copier at any time. So, this is a bad unit. Take your chances that this is an anomaly and hope you will get a good one, or maybe get a bad one and not find out until your 30-day window has expired because you have to get them before you need them, right? Your choice.

I did not notice that the box had been previously opened when I went to install the drum. The drum cartridge was broken and unusable. We are now past the return period.

I purchased this to fix some streaking issues that appeared on a 7 year old Samsung printer.I had previously purchased the toner cartridges so I had some experience with this brand. It arrived quickly and well packaged. It took a little fiddling to install it but slipped in and worked great. No more streaks.

I have been using it for about 6 weeks now and no problems with it. It is somewhat hard to get it into the machine but the original unit that came with the printer was just as difficult, so I am not going to mark this unit down for a difficult install. Just take your time have a good light source, it will probably take two or three tries until you get it seated correctly.
