This is a perfectly good pillow for between the knees while sleeping, however it was too thick for me... kept waking me up. I sent it back.

I ordered this as a knee pillow for my husband who has had several knee surgeries on each knee. He does not have much padding left in his knees and finds it uncomfortable to have his knees touching while he is sleeping - it's bone rubbing on bone basically. This pillow was certainly thick enough to help with the cushioning, but it is large and heavy. He found it very cumbersome, because he is a side sleeper and likes to flop over from side to side. This pillow was not easy to move from side to side at all. He tried it for a couple of nights, but it soon became apparent that it would not work. We ended up ordering a camping/travel pillow that is small and portable enough that it moves with him in the bed. If you are not someone who moves around in bed as much as he does, it may work fine for you, but I would advise checking the measurements and being aware that it is a fairly heavy pillow.

at last! a pillow that is large enough -- long enough -- to support your leg from above the knee to the ankle. A godsend for older, crinky bodies. great find! I may ultimately trim a bit off the end to make it a bit more rounded, but that's purely for my taste and comfort. Great pillow.

LOVE this pillow! I sleep with my feet elevated due to daytime swelling. I have bad knees and lately knee pain has been waking me up. I looked at wedge pillows but went with this instead. So glad I did. It's perfect in every way. It comes vacuum packed, but fluffs right up almost immediately once opened. It's very comfortable under my legs. A standard pillowcase fits it perfectly. If you want overhang, use a king size pillowcase. I'm going to go ahead and put my new pillow in a pillow protector too now that I know it's a keeper.

It really works. I used a conventional pillow before and this is 10 times better. This pillow has a different and better cushioning affect, it isn't really hard or soft but more of a sponge. Its best and worst feature is size, it is a larger pillow and thus easily held in place. As a larger pillow it can be more difficult when tossing or turning, as it can tangle in the sheets. The pain relieve is well worth it.

Larger than I expected but it works. I don't really have to worry about cleaning the pillow as I put a pillow case on it when I first started using it. Nice and firm for what I use it for between my knees.

I had tried a knee-only cushion which had a strap and stayed in place as I rolled over, but it did not help my back enough. Then I tried a Back Support Systems size small memory foam lower leg cushion. Their size small only has one strap, and it was always getting stuck in my covers and waking me when I rolled over. It did help my back. Then I decided to try this Hombys leg pillow with "groove." It is larger than the Back Support Systems product, but stays put better and wakes me up less. It seems wimpy when you first open it, but it fluffs up. I hope it lasts. Also, if you buy this, the Allerease standard/queen zippered pillow protector fits perfectly. I considered buying a larger Back Support System memory foam which would have had two straps, but their "bamboo" cover is the worst. It comes apart from friction and cleaning pet hair off of it. I hope this helps.
