This cute butter dish will hold 2 sticks of butter. It has the Country look a lot of kitchen are using. It is metal not ceramic and the wooden lid fits tight. Would definitely order again if I ever need another one.

Being used to glass butter dishes I didn’t have high expectations when I bought this. Turns out it is a sturdy good product love the lid that fits securely and I can actually fit two sticks of butter it’s really cute and would match so many different kitchens I love the farmhouse feel to it and the price was great!

This is, IMHO, a really nice product. The attractive base is enamaled steel and the top is wood (bamboo?). No plastic to be seen. It is just the right size to hold the half-pound butter blocks I get from my local supermarket. I am really pleased with it.

Super cute butter dish with plenty of room for big blocks of butter. Very sturdy and the seal on the lid grips great. Easy peas to use....

This butter dish holds 2 sticks of butter and to be honest I think you could get 4 in on top of the bottom 2.The lid fits securely, the butter stays actually pretty firm while out on my table.I don't regrid.my butter.Great butter dish and lovely country style.Highly recommend!UPDATE:The black around the top of the dish is all coming off!States in the description it won't chip, but it surely did and looks terrible.I only hand wash,so there was NO excuse for this!Would be nice if this company would honor a replacement!

This is a functional and pretty butter dish, Ip till this one I always had the kind where the butter was under the top. This always resulted in butter getting all over the outside of the dish. With this one the butter im sits inside the large bottom and the nice poly”Ed top closes the top. No more mess

Forgot to leave the butter out last Thanksgiving...decided I'd get a butter dish by Christmas! No one was happy trying to spread cold butter -- you just can't spread cold butter on any bread, but especially fresh homemade breads! Chose this butter dish because it is enamel and can go in dishwasher. I had no idea how much we would enjoy leaving our butter in the pantry in this little butter dish. We enjoy spreadable real butter so much, I got a second one, so one can always be clean and ready for two new sticks of butter. Those two sticks only last three days and our panty is around 68-degrees. Works perfectly.

I have a cat that loves to eat butter, so we have to have it in something. I used a tupperware container with a snap-on lid which fit 2 sticks of butter perfectly, and wasn't really deep so it was easy to get the butter out. Unfortunately my beloved Tupperware container with a snap-on lid began to rip apart from use. So I got this. It is quite a bit deeper but it looks cute and it's metal so it will not break, the lid won't break apart like my plastic Tupperware did. My only complaint is if you scrape the knife off and then put the lid on then you get butter all over the lid, and then you just have a mess eventually. But it works and it looks really cute and it's not going to break. I like having the butter sit down in a dish with a lid on top rather than those butter trays that have the stick of butter sitting on a flat surface with a lid that comes down over the top of it. I never liked those.
