The printer was very easy to set up with simple instructions and how to do so. It connected to my Wi-Fi without any issues whatsoever. The scanning on it is better than what I expected and it fits perfectly in the spot where I need it.

Installing the ink was tricky. Normally printer ink cartridge holders automatically move into position when you open the top, but mine didn't. I moved it over by hand. (not too far, an inch or so) The directions say "push up firmly". Substitute the word "lift". You lift the end nearest you while also pushing in to make these two small plastic ridges on the connecting end snap under a little keeper. When it's correct, you'll see a tiny line of cartridge color just behind a tiny tab. Connecting Wifi took a minute. Make sure your computer is also on Wifi, not ethernet, before attempting to connect. You can use the computer's network troubleshooter to make it connect, but it can disconnect, too. This happened several times before it finally stuck. Pulling the power cord on the printer and restarting it while the PC was on Wifi seemed to do the trick. Hope this helps someone - it did indeed connect and print from the internet. I then unplugged it because I wasn't keen on having an open connection just sitting around. Since I print very seldom, I'd rather just restart it. If you are a frequent user, you should probably check into security measures for your home network. May the Force be with you!

I had an HP 6400 Envy series that was a nightmare, so i was very hesitant to purchase this printer, but i have been pleasantly surprised. It prints fast, it never fails to connect, all of the features work as they should, and it never binds up when spooling. It is quiet, the print quality is great and it's very easy to use.

A home office printer that's close to a commercial printer, copier, scanner. The front to back printing, scanning and copying is automatic! No need to turn over paper and re-feed. It holds 100 sheets of paper in its tray. Print speed is fast for a home office. You get a lot of perks for the price.

Love this printer. I had two cheaper ones over the last few years and wanted a paper tray and better quality. This fits the bill. I buy only HP printers ever since 1988. Great quality

Bought this printer a month ago based on ratings. Worst printer ever. Longest to print a sheet from PC now at 17 hrs, 12 minutes. Doesn't like or will connect to assigned router when 2 routers are present with different names, same password. Their solution... change password... Yea right, and change a dozen devices all working perfectly from each router.Ethernet direct connected still wants WI-FI connection., Now waiting 1 hr and counting for 1 page to print. Chews up ink like no other machine. Loved my 3830. worked flawlessly for years till it didn't.

Easy set up and prints beautifully. A little on the higher price point and that is the reason for only 4 stars

Simple and easy to use printer. I love that it’s white and I can easily store it away in my cabinetry when I’m not using it. The only thing that seems to be an issue is that it runs out of ink pretty quickly, but they have it all set up to immediately send you ink when you need it as the printer communicates With the mothership about your ink cartridge needs.

After owning this printer 3 months I'm already looking for a different brand or same brand different model.First, the ink is very expensive much more than I've paid for other hp printers. Hint: when choosing a printer check the price of ink and if there are 3rd party refill ink cartridges that are reliable. And give the ink price a part of deciding.Ink for this runs about $90 average for even generic brands and there are not many available. Yes hp sells a black cartridge for $23 bucks. It says 160 pages but more like 80. So it will require at least 2 in a month or 5 weeks. So with tax about $200 a year or more. The printer is very moody and very loud. When it starts printing it makes a loud bang sound. The printing is quite noisy.Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It typically doesn't work when I need it. It seems to get stuck with processing a print job. So you unplug it and often too unplug you're computer or device. Plug them back in restart and 50/50 chance it will clear. Most of often have to download the apps to diagnose then fix the issue. Close your eyes and visualize doing this once or twice a day when you have to get documents printed quickly.Idk I paid $99 bucks but I'm willing to throw it out or donate. It's a shame. Now when it works irs very good and prints fast. If you're a casual user and don't mind constantly troubleshooting then it's for you.
