My son got this to hunt this year. Overall he said that it worked ok. In the end he ended up returning it because he found one at Bass Pro that was better quality for $5 more. This will do the job, but he has been more happy with his new one.

Very adjustable to allow you to use it while sitting or standing and no matter your height. There are removable rubber covers on the tips that when you remove them, there are sharp points that make it so you can stick on icy surfaces and also come with a wider add-on for snow.The 2 points make for a pretty stable stand, and being able to adjust the width makes it even better. The hand grip is comfortable to hold on to. They are very light to carry with you and made from aluminum, so they are very strong. The gun rest fits most guns and holds them very sturdy and will swivel if you need to point in a different direction.

The bipod is really nice and love the design and decided to go with the green color to be different since everyone went with black lol.Anyways the bipod is actually really good compared to other reviews that I've seen and order this as I usually go small game hunting with my Barra 1100z air rifle and that thing is a little heavy with all the attachments I have mounted on it so this was essential to helping me keep my gun lifted to a good height.You have to adjust the legs manually to open and close them so no spring load or anything fancy, but love the fact you can adjust two levels of the upper and lower legs of the bipod to get a crazy amount of elevation if needed. The swivel function is my favorite since it gives me the option to swing in a 360-degree angle while in the middle of the field hunting small game running around. One small thing it that it does tend to wobble a bit if you extend the legs too far out, so I tend to keep them at a good extension and utilize the leg strap. The neck of the bipod grips my rifle really well and have no slip of any kind while the gun is mounted on there -- overall I really love this thing aside from the minor flaw and would love to show better pics but per guidelines firearms can't be in the pictures ;)

Bought for my daughter for youth season. Gives some extra stability when sitting. Would also work for a standing height, but would be awkward to carry around. Best for a ground blind or seated position where you are stationary.

Overall I like the bipod, it's sturdy and the legs are strong enough for my crossbow and it extends enough to use while sitting on my stool in my hunting blind. However, one of the legs is slightly loose where it connects to the housing at the top, causing the top to wobble slightly. I could tighten the screw myself except that the nut is in a small recess in the housing and there isn't room for a socket or pliers. I'd return except that I need to use it now and cannot hunt without it.

I was looking forward to using this bipod for an upcoming turkey hunt. When I screwed the yolk assembly to the handle I noticed that it wobbled back and forth left to right.Upon closer inspection I noticed that one of the screws that attached the assembly to the leg was not fully screwed in. Turns out whoever assembled this unit cross threaded the nylock nut and the screw to the point that the screw is bent. It is so badly damaged, I cannot rethread it into the nylock nut.A bit of wobble is acceptable for hunting with a shotgun but is not acceptable for any rifle shooter.There is no way of contacting the vendor to deal with this issue. As a result of this issue and not being able to contact the vendor for replacement screw, I have given it a very poor rating.Update: So I have been contacted by Huntpal-CA and they cannot provide me with the damaged screw. However; they have offered 2 solutions to make it right. While there was no option to contact them directly, my original rating caused a response. With the solution I have picked, I have upgraded my original 1 star review to 3 stars.
