Very satisfied! A good, effective trimming and cutting machine. Powerful enough for most jobs. The brush cutting wheel/blade makes short work of anything considered brush. Very easy to start. The initial prime and start took three pulls. Thereafter, one or two pulls. Arrived mostly assembled requiring only the handle and blade guard to be installed. Easy enough. Mine arrived with the brush cutter installed so I started there. Works really well. That said, my primary ‘target’ will be grasses and small weeds. Trying yo swap the brush blade for the string trimmer attachment, I realized that there are no instructions and it’s not obvious how to do it. They price a socket wrench without the process to use it. I’m looking through YouTube and other sources to see how others do it. I shouldn’t have to fihure this out, but the manufacturer didn’t bother. Also, the instructions suggest checking the cutter union grease levels. Okay. How?In summary the 122RJ is a good tool to have. And, even better if you figure out how to get the most out of it with complete instructions.

I like that it was already basically set up when I got it. It had the cutting disk installed and just needed to set up the guard and fill it up with gas and 2 stroke oil. I liked that it also came with a bottle of 2 stroke oil which was enough to mix with a 1 gallon tank; it was a nice addition and makes it that the only thing I needed was some gasoline.At first it didn't wanted to start but its expected with new motors, as soon as gas hit the carb it started up and afterward it would start up instantly I only needed about half a pull to get it to start. The air purge thing makes it easy to start it after its been sitting for a while also.I like that its very powerful, the cutting disk works very well and cuts through everything I threw at it. It took heavy tall grass and cut it like butter. I'm wouldn't be surprised if this thing could cut up small bushes.Changing the heads its also very simple, It comes with the tool to unscrew the nut on the disc, and then screw on the string trimmer head. It also has another tool which is for the removal and install of the trimmer head. After I learned how to change the heads, I can easily do it in less than 20 minutes. it really is very easy.The trimmer head works just like any other one and it has the bump feeder at the bottom for when the string gets too short.The shoulder strap is a nice addition and the safety bar is kind of weird but if you get used to it it helps to keep the head safely away from your legs.

This came mostly in one piece. I only had to add the guard, handle, and strap. So that was nice. It comes with good instructions on how to use it and what fuel mix to use. I did have to wait till I went to the local hardware store to get the fuel. This thing is heavy duty! Very well made. It did take a few tries on pulling the cord to get it started for the first time, but once it started it was so easy to use. The shoulder strap helps to take the weight off and makes it easy to maneuver it through the brush. The blade will rip through the tough stalks growing and probably will take down small trees also. Would recommend!

Arrived on time and in good condition, or so I thought. Upon removal of the unit, the engine was missing the top end, and the brush cutter was nonexistent. Too many pieces missing to test properly...

Well built, durable, handling daily farm duties like a champ. Put over two hours of heavy cutting including lots of limbs up to an inch in diameter… not a single problem. Would buy again.
