I am very pleased with the edger. No cords! The wheel takes the weight off so that I can edge without getting sore back or shoulders! It does a good job cutting through the grass. The product design keeps grass from getting thrown back onto the user. It's easy to charge the battery, and the battery functions with other yard products from Husqvarna. I expect long term quality with this product as I have experienced from my other Husqvarna products. I am very happy we invested in this product!

i will begin by saying my walkway and driveway were fairly overgrown and had not been trimmed in over a year.i received the edger, assembled it and allowed the battery to charge overnight. edger is well packaged and easy to assemble without the instructions.i took the edge our the next morning and it works very well. way more than enough power for even the most over grown area. the edger come adjusted to the deepest setting and i left that in place. the battery ran dry at around 300 feet. about 10' shy of me being finished. i installed my old weed eater battery to finish the job.Batteries are hot when removing them. hot to touch and the temperature sensor shuts them down when low. While the batteries will charge quickly it took an hour for them to cool enough to all them to charge.not a huge deal for a small yard but may be a concern for large areas. This could become an even bigger issue when the summer temps ramp up.Overall this is well made, well designed and easy to use. what took me about an hour with my old corded edger took me around 30 min start to finish with the lawn in much worse shape than normal. I am really happy with this tool as long as it holds up. Batteries are expense and the heat issue concerns me for their lifespan.for a small residential yard this is perfect.

Powered up with no problem but Edger wouldn't spin. Searched on the internet for Husqvarna trouble shooting and was unsuccessful. Husqvarna chat referred me to a local repair location that has all the manuals. Edger is brand new and I couldn't use it therefore I returned it.

I've been a fan of the Husqvarna brand for some time. They have a great reputation for making quality products.Today I had the pleasure of using their new battery edger, which is part of their combi switch line.If you aren't familiar with the combi switch line, the motor can be disconnected from the edger and added to other implements. My favorite is the pole saw attachment (chainsaw), although the string trimmer attachment is more useful each time you mow the lawn.This edger is light enough that it doesn't create any fatigue. Of course, you are rolling the wheel along the ground as you go.If you haven't been edging regularly, you can expect that it may kick up a fair amount of dirt or meet a lot of resistance. You may want to go down the sidewalk with a flat bladed shovel to loosen it up, as the tool is not made for that.The battery lasts a long time, longer than I needed to get the job done. No doubt in part so you can use other implements without recharging.Overall love this gadget and looking forward to filling out the set!

Easy to assemble and quite powerful. My sidewalks hadn't been edged in quite some time, and I gained almost a foot of sidewalk back after using this edger on them. Very happy with my purchase!

I like it a lot more than the gas edger. Just insert the battery and go. It got my lawn edges trimmed incredibly fast and incredibly beautifully looking.
