These plant nutrients came with clear instructions and are easy to use with the included dropper bottles and measuring caps. I was able to get both solutions to dissolve completely, better than the plant food that initially came with my hydroponic unit. I'm growing some herbs, and they sprouted faster than expected and are growing well. This plant food seems to be working great!

I updated my review to remove a star. After about 2 months, the A nutrients will start to get some gross black colored growths in in it and will start to smell rotten. It was kept out of direct light. This is a problem I have heard of happening with these kind of solid nutrients. To avoid this, since I dumped about half of a mixed A bottle, I'll probably mix only half a packet and half a bottle for the next time, or less. I would recommend the same.These hydroponic fertilizers/ liquid nutrients are pretty standard and do the job well. They are balanced and will support most types of plants. The solid nutrients mix into water pretty well, just give them long enough and shake every so often. These come filled with the solid fertilizer and an extra packet for each container. My hydroponic herbs and lettuce are growing happily and healthily on these nutrients. I really like these containers too, and I'll be keeping them to use to mix and measure my other powdered ferltilizer, maxi-gro.

I added this to my water propogations. Some of them have considerable roots but I haven't moved them to soil yet. I didn't notice a big difference in growth or health after adding this fertilizer. It didn't hurt anything, but I wasn't impressed.

The kit contains one bottle of each component. The bottles arrive containing the pellets, which are mixed with water in the bottles. This kit also includes a spare set of pellets in clear plastic bags. Thus, you get two bottles of each component. The price is better than buying two separate kits, but other kits contain more spare sets for better prices. I have not found any reason why only one refill can be used per bottle, and the bottles still look good to use for additional refills after the kit's contents are used up. I have five hydroponic gardens going at all times, and this solution is one of the best I have found regarding overall price, speed of plant growth, and taste of the veggies grown. I add 5ml to each of my hydroponic gardens every two weeks, and this regimen works fine. The product description is accurate. They arrived in two days without any issues. I would get these again but look for more refills at better prices.

It comes with everything you need, the crystal nutrients and the bottle to mix it with along with a measuring cap. And a second set of ingredients. I thought it was just so tiny an amount. I mean, I use that much in granular fertilizer for one plant! But that's not how it works.You mix it. And then you mix 5ml into a liter of water. And that means, you can make many, many gallons of nutrient solution with what they give you. I have just a few seedlings I'm starting up and over one month, I've only used up less than a liter of the mix. This is going to last me a year at this rate, even if I start using it more!Seedlings in this solution, grow light in use, and the seedlings are growing great. Time to transplant them out into the wilds! :-)
