I replaced the antennas on my 2-way portable radio sets. (HYS UHF BNC GMRS Handheld Scanner Antenna). I was amazed the difference they made. Great value with excellent performance!

I had purchased several handheld amateur radios (HTs), and I added SMA-BNC adapters to make it easier to swap antennas. I had never tried HYS, so I ordered one of each size antenna in orange. I am pleased with the performance with these reasonably-priced antennas. I tested both with a power/SWR meter, and they both performed very well; each one managed an SWR of 1.1-1.3 depending on the band and specific frequency. I would definitely recommend the HYS antennas.

I bought this for my Quansheng UV-K5. It is quite the flexible antenna and very sturdy. I like that it performs well on VHF Airband, as for UHF Airband I have not tried. It does add some weight to the radio, but should be just fine.I am very happy with this antenna! It also makes you look pretty cool with it, and matches the high visibility knob of the original Quansheng UV-K5 perfectly. Bonus points if you use it for the new orange high visibility UV-K6.

I bought this antenna for my Whistler TRX-1 and my Uniden Bearcat BC125AT. So far it has been performing vary well. Its doing a good job even if the frequencies are not in the two stated frequency ranges. Its even picking up local digital signals some of which are in the 500-799 Mhz range. Its also picking up VHF low frequencies as well. The main reason I bought this antenna is because I wanted a high gain antenna when I am out of the car when I am trackside, the frequencies are in the 160.000 Mhz - 161.999 Mhz range. I still need to test the antenna trackside. I am hoping to find somewhere in New Jersey where I can receive digital railroad transmissions in Oak Point yard. They are on NXDN which I would have to pay $75 to Uniden to get the NXDN upgrade.

Worked as advertised. Very visible for i.d. purposes in a group of ht's. Connection Good replacement fastens loosely but works well.

I bought the BNC antenna pictured. Construction feels good. SWR readings were taken outside on a grass lawn at head height , holding onto the analyzer (NanoVNA) with one hand as you would a walkie talkie (this influences the results).Listed as Dual Frequency 144/430 MHz with a design SWR below 1.5, the VHF performance doesn't meet the published spec. at 144MHz (SWR 4.13). UHF performance looks good at 1.26.UHF performance @ 430MHz yields an SWR of 1.26UHF performance @ 446MHz yields an SWR of 2.57VHF performance @ 144MHz yields an SWR of 4.13VHF performance @ 146MHz yields an SWR of 3.73
