Your cart is empty.The K6ARK Portable Radio 20w matching unit design is one of the most compact and light-weight options for a portable HF antenna, designed specifically for use with low power HF rigs like the Xiegu G90 and Elecraft KX3 and KX2. This kit improves the original design, making the build easier. This kit provides the components necessary to build one matching unit. Just add antenna wire of your choice to build an End-fed Half Wave, End Fed Random Wire, or a 1:1 Balun feed point for a dipole antenna. Tools/consumables required include a soldering iron, solder, tweezers, and a heat gun (preferred) or a lighter to shrink the heat-shrink tubing. Note that this kit contains small parts that may be difficult for some individuals to assemble, but the end result is well worth it. These kits are produced by me, K6ARK, and I welcome questions, and am eager to help you succeed in your build project. Have fun with your build!

I built this kit for POTA and it works great for my G90 doing FT8 I cut it for 20M for a shorter length but is resonant on 15 and 10.

This antenna kit was easier to build that I thought it would be. The directions can be found on K6ARK’s website. I opted for the 49:1 EFHW configuration without a counterpoise and my icom 705 is super happy with it. The smt capacitor is extremely tiny but was actually the easiest part of the build to solder in place.Will be buying another for a 9:1 EFRW and the 100w version.

I have built a lot of small kits, mostly qrp (qdx recently). The assembly here is the only one i cant complete . Probably just the way this is laid out.
