I think overall I am pretty handy but definitely had some difficulty putting these luggage racks together (to be honest they are still in my closet in pieces since i was unable to figure them out). The directions were a bit confusing and the quality is just ok, overall (if I can figure out the right pieces to get them together) I think they would do their job but don't think I would purchase again.

I got this pair of folding luggage racks for our summer home. I got them in gold and green. They're very attractive, since the gold is muted and not gawdy. These luggage racks are BIG and pretty sturdy. Each rack could hold a large suitcase. They also fold up for easy storage. They're fairly lightweight, but sufficiently sturdy. When they open and close, there was a bit of squeaking, but it wasn't too bad. Please note that ASSEMBLY IS REQUIRED, for which I have some tips:ASSEMBLY:Assembly took me less than half an hour, and it's not too difficult. I was able to do it on my own. The racks come with all the tools and screws you need to assemble them. All the parts and screws came very clearly labeled with numbers and letters on stickers, and the accompanying instruction manual has clear, accurate pictures and steps.- TIP: Where the two sides of the frame criss-cross each other, don't forget to put the clear rubber washer in between the two frames. This is where the frames hinge to open and close, and the rubber washer cushions the two. (I forgot, but I was able to re-do it properly.)- TIP: Do not tighten ANY of the screws ANY more than is necessary! I overtightened the screws along the frame, and it bent the frame *just* enough that I couldn't fit the base pieces onto the frame! I had to loosen up my screws a bit to get the base pieces on. It was easy to fix, but save yourself the trouble, and be ready to loosen the screws if you have trouble putting the base pieces onto the frame.- TIP: To complete the near-final step of putting the base pieces onto the frame, I needed to place the rack on the floor (upside down) for proper support. It was a bit of a tight fit, so I had to carefully align both ends of each base piece to the frame, then push each side in pretty firmly, alternating from one side to another until I had wiggled the base piece fully onto the frame.- NOTE: My first rack was a little uneven and wobbled a bit. My second rack didn't wobble at all. I think proper, symmetrical assembly will prevent any wobbling.At a price of $47.99 for the two large luggage racks (at the time of this review), I think these are a good value. Overall, I would strongly recommend them!
