No instructional video to understand how the machine works. Directions not easy, I was unable to start the machine.

This is a really cool machine, that does all the functions the competition does, but does it in a very unique way that kind of catches your attention. When the blade goes down on the mixture, the top of the base moves with it and gets shorter in height, when the blade gets to the bottom and goes back up, the machine starts to get taller again. This feature is cool for when you have to store it in smaller places.It has a nice slanted display in the front, which lights up showing all the functions. It is easy to use and easy to clean. The recipe book has good recipes and the instructions to operate it are clear.The unit comes with three containers and lids. The lids when you first put them on before storage in the freezer with your fresh mixtures, work great and go on secure. Once it is in the freezer, the lids become kinda flimsy and the slightest touch will cause the lid to come up on it. You have to push it back down but sometimes it won't stay because it is too pliable from being in the cold. Extra containers can be purchased.To clean the machine you have to remove the shaft. There is a button to depress that allows you to remove the whole shaft assembly, all you have to do is clean the lid and blade and it will snap right back into the machine when you are finished. Easy. A chammis is provided so you can wipe the fingerprints off the display.All in all this is a good ice cream/treat maker, everything that I have thrown at it comes out just fine. This machine is sold by various brands, it seems that they use the same factory in China. Each brand, the boxes are exactly the same and so are the contents.

Beautiful machine, however everything is still flashing and no response from customer service on what else is needed to fix the machine. I think the customer service is in China.
