Properly done eggs are happy eggs
Soft boiled eggs are very runny but still can be yummy
Medium boiled eggs have a soft, gooey center
Hard boiled eggs have a firm center
Changes color as it cooks
As the egg timer sits in boiling water with the other eggs, it changes color from red to clear. For Hard Boiled eggs, wait until timer is completely clear.
TIPS:
Do not put into cold water with the rest of your eggs when done
Do not leave in pot boiling with out the eggs, this will overheat the timer
This is a visual timer, it does not emit any noise.
Larger eggs may need additional time compared to this timer.

I was worried about how the visibility would be.... my children love hardboiled eggs and are cooking them on their own... this takes the question of "how long" out of it completed! Great tool, especially for kids!

This little egg is amazing! Perfectly easy to read and understand. Cleaning is no problem either. Put in your eggs, plop this little baby in, and pull your eggs when the dial shows how cooked they are. It’s easy simple and makes delicious eggs every time!

No need to stare at boiling eggs or keeping check of exact time. It's easy to just take a peek at the egg timer while prepping other stuff. It had a peculiar epoxy resin smell the first time I used it. Hoping that will dissipate soon.

I had one of these for years and it was wonderful. When it was broken, I ordered these. They are easy to read and somewhat work. They say the egg is hard boiled but it's still pretty soft in the middle, so I now always leave the eggs in longer than this egg says.
