When I built my rig about 6 months ago, I deliberately looked for a case with a slot I could use this for. In the past I just have a bunch of drives inside the case, but that makes cable management tricky and it is a mess. I wanted to build a really clean computer, so this was absolutely perfect. I love that I can just pop out the drives as I need to. This has made it great when I need to wipe a drive or see what is on it. I don't know about you, but I've got a box with about a dozen drives from various computers or tear downs. My new machine is M.2, so I just took the drive from my old machine and popped it in here and it was like I didn't miss a beat when it came time to access files from it. I don't know what else to tell you. 6 months I've been using this and it has been working great. It made it so my machine didn't have drives scattered everywhere with cords hanging out, and that is what I wanted. Clean clean clean.

easy to install and hook up and makes it easier to have multiple drives when you dont have a drive cage built into your case
