I bought these for a Kohler 745 on a Bad Boy mower. Reading the other reviews I saw that the design was a little different, but they still worked. I replaced just my original bad coil initially, and after the mower still didn’t run correctly I replaced them both. After going through the entire mower, carbs, plugs, etc, I came back around to these brand new coils being bad. They sparked, but the engine ran like it was off time. Everything was installed to spec and it just ran bad. I replaced these with another set on Amazon, that matched the oem design, and it worked great.Returning this junk, hopefully this review helps spare someone else or the trouble these caused.

I installed the coils and hooked up the cable to the spark plug. I pulled the cable off to check the connection and the inside guts (spring) stayed in the plug and came out of the wire boot. I sent them both back.
