As advertised, it's a bag of freeze dried organ meat plus some fruits and other additives that should increase the nutritional value. it's basically a powder and I find my cat likes it more as a small snack or as a topper to some of her wet cat food. Overall pretty good but a bit expensive for a treat item.My cat tends to only eat a little bit at a time though, so a little goes a long way. Not sure if this is because it's beef, rather than fish or chicken.

Since my cat can't write this review for himself I'll do it on his behalf. When I first introduced this he sniffed it for a minute and I wasn't sure if he was going to like it. That being said he quickly took to it and now every time he sees me open the package I can see him licking his lips. It doesn't take a lot of this to add as a Topper either which makes any sort of food that he may be bored with come to life with a little bit of difference. I think it's a fair price and also this is a great way to treat your loved one.

Our picky dogs loved it, but we were never able to get any of our three cats to try it. I'm completely stumped about the cats' reactions to it. It has a really pleasant smell, and I just assumed they would go crazy for it. After offering it to them on multiple occasions, in every conceivable way, I decided to test it out with the dogs. They will immediately let me know if something is off with any kind of food. All five licked their bowls clean every single time I gave this to them. So, I know it's a great product. The cats just didn't get the memo. My pups and I give it 5 stars!

My cats enjoy this, but not every day. I find the best use is to sprinkle it on top of their wet food on the days they don't want to eat it. Unlike many cats that fixate on one particular food and flavor, mine get bored of the the same old flavor. I now have two flavors and switch when they start refusing one. The beef topper is great for the days they've gotten bored before we switch flavors.

My cats love this topper and come running at just the sight. The flavor has to be good for them to be so excited about it, plus it has some decent boosters included in the formula. The bag is a bit big for how much topper is actually in it and it is a bit powdery, but it still provides a good amount of product and has smaller chunks included in the mix. Definitely a win for my cats and a good inclusion for their food with quality ingredients.

Fine powder, not shreds or flakes. Cannot be used as treats, this JUST to sprinkle on top of the food. Its pure and all meat.

This stuff smells and looks like beef jerky from the can. My dog loves it as a food topper. My cat didn't care for it.

I was extremely happy for the opportunity to try this iHeartCats Nutrition Boost Beef Food Topper, since I run a cat rescue and am always looking for high-quality ways to boost nutrition for my cats. I sprinkled it over their wet food, and it was an immediate hit…the cats absolutely loved it. I really appreciate the clean ingredients with no unnecessary fillers or junk that my cats don't need.I also love that it comes from a company I trust, one that genuinely cares about the health and well-being of cats. The only downside for me is that, even though it’s fairly priced for the quality, it’s not something I can afford to use regularly across a large rescue due to budget limitations. I would absolutely recommend this product to pet owners who want to add a nutritious, high-quality topper to their cat's meals.
