Well, I was a little disappointed with this plate. I bought the white dish and the colors aren't as vivid as they appeared online. A slightly washed out look. Also the picture is obviously printed onto the plate. These aren't china dishes--they really are the fairly unbreakable porcelain for use in freezers, ovens, and dishwashers, as they are described. Thus, overpriced IMHO. However, the plate is unique, and cute if you like folk art, which I do. I'm definitely keeping the dish. And since I regretted getting white instead of blue, I'm even thinking about ordering something in blue to see if that color works better--

I got these to go with the oversized dinner plates. They are the perfect size for snacks or smaller one-dish meals. Very durable and beautifully designed.
