The sound is really good. I mostly use it to Bluetooth to Amazon music thru my phone. The radio works pretty good too but I purchased it primarily to use Bluetooth!

Had been using a DVD player as a CD player, and was looking for a dedicated CD player. Loved the look of this one. I think the sound quality is very good, given the small size, and especially since this is my "extra" CD player. If you are looking for a lot of bass, you aren't going to get it from this product. Seems well built. A great bonus for me is that I can power it down, and when I turn it back on, the CD starts from where I left off. The bluetooth option is also a plus. I would recommended this player, depending on what you're looking for. EDIT: The cd player has started to work inconsistently, so I now use it more as a Bluetooth speaker. Still use the cd player about 40 % of the time.

The CD player stopped working after 40 days. 10 days after I could no longer return it. I contacted the manufacturer as the manual is useless, and they never responded. Don’t waste your money. This is the most I have ever spent on a stereo, and it was garbage.

I read the reviews and had some concerns but with 30 day return, thought I would take the risk. Glad I did because I love this player. It shipped in 2 boxes and arrived in perfect condition. On opening, the player looked excellent with no flaws. I plugged it in and put it thru the paces. Everything worked as it should. The retro look is great and I love the wood chassis.I set it up in my 12' X 18" shop for background music, primarily classic rock CDs. I was disappointed to see there was no tone or base/treble adjustment. That was short lived as the music came out crystal clear and perfectly balanced. I did not need to change a thing. It does have a volume limit but that keeps from ruining the speakers and is plenty for the space I am using it in.No it does not hold a candle to my 1980's Sansui system but for $79 what do you expect. I got more that I expected. I tried a number of other sound options before this. This player is far better that any of the comparable players I tried.

I bought this music system in June 2022. I only use it sporadically. The cd player stopped working . So it only lasted 7 months. I don’t even know who to contact to see if is under warranty . Highly disappointed.

This boom box/stereo absolutely kicks ***!!! This is the best home stereo system I have ever had. I had to go to Best Buy to buy an audio/video cord to hook it up to my 200 disc CD changer and now I can listen to my music from the 80's, 90's 00's and today for the rest of my life. The sound is rocking! These speakers are so tiny, yet the sound is amazing! Oh my gosh! This stereo searches the entire radio in your area and presets all the stations automatically for you. I feel as though I am at a concert! All of this came for $80!!! **** yeah! This is great!!!!!!

Bought this for my daughter for a xmas present. The first one we bought, the CD player skipped even with a brand new CD in it. We exchanged that for replacement. The replacement would continually open/close the CD tray for no reason and would not play a CD. Asked for another replacement and was told they were out of stock. Don't waste your money. You are getting exactly what you pay for.
