This review is for INKBIRD Wireless Thermometer for Swimming Pools, Solar Powered Pool Thermometer, with Indoor Monitor included 2AAA Battery, for Bathtub, Fish Tank.The remote pool thermometer set was delivered on-time, complete and as described by the seller; it comes in a custom, printed box containing the floating pool unit, the indoor monitor unit with 2xAAA batteries, a detailed user manual and a cord for attaching the pool unit in place. The user manual is well-written with clear pictorials, so set-up and configuration are straightforward; basically, power-on and input time-of-day and desired C/F temperature unit. The pool unit is sealed and is powered by a re-chargeable battery which is charged by a solar cell on top of the unit next to a small display; this display shows actual pool temperature and battery status. At intervals of a few minutes, the pool unit transmits a signal to the indoor monitor which updates the pool data displayed. The display on the indoor monitor is divided in two sections. The left side displays the pool unit data with battery status, current pool temperature and maximum/minimum pool temperatures over a pre-set timeframe; there is also a comfort-level indicator with pre-set ranges for cold/comfort/hot. The right hand side displays the current temperature and humidity at the location of the indoor unit. I have been operating this INKBIRD system with a distance of about 60 feet and one exterior wall and one interior wall between the pool and indoor units; I am satisfied with the functionality, accuracy and performance of the system. This is a good solution for me; I can now easily check on pool temperature without having to use the cumbersome built-in pool-pump readout. I note that the LED displays on both INKBIRD units do not have backlighting so some external illumination is required.

Convenient temp gauge for pool. We just started prepping our pool for the season and since we’re not using a heater this year, we wanted something to be able to monitor the temps better. Lightweight, decent materials without being bulky. Would’ve been more awesome IF it doubled for chlorine. Great value. Monitor clear and relatively accurate/consistent. Recommend.

This INKBIRD wireless thermometer does more than just tell you the temperature of the pool water. It also tells you the temp inside your house, as well as the humidity! The in-pool unit is solar powered and can easily be tethered by a thin nylon string so it doesn't disappear in the skimmer, or to keep it out of the way while using the pool, or so you can easily see the temperature without going inside the house.. The in-home unit uses 2-AAA batteries, which are included, and has a long battery life. The inside unit shows you the pool's water temp, air temp, time, and humidity, as well as the inside temp and humidity. It has a range of 300 meters and can hold the readings of up to THREE thermometers. You could use this in a fish tank or even to monitor a child's bathwater (but please don't leave the child alone in the tub!). It's a fantastic device that does everything I wanted, without any overwhelming extraneous data.

I have been looking for a pool thermometer for my pool that I can see from inside the house and this is exactly what this one is. The monitor is a good size and just sits on the counter but I believe it has a wireless range of 300 feet. The good part is the monitor stays in the house to tell you what the pool temperature is but also tells you the inside Temperature and humidity in the house. It also comes with a string to tie on something in the pool so it doesn't get taken into the skimmers. It is so close to swimming season and everyday I get up I look to see what the temp is in the pool. Its so much better than having to find the one in the pool that's never accurate bc it gets stuck in skimmer for hours at a time. Its pretty heavy as well and has a bumper guard so it won't have issues if it hits the pool walls. I recommend this and the solar panels work well.

You are going to love this as much as I do, it so nice to be able to check out the pool temperature from in the house. So if I have the solar cover on I know when I need to remove it. 🙃

Wow! This wireless thermometer is fantastic!I've had a couple in the past but they were battery powered & never fully sealed. This one, having a solar panel is completely sealed & works great! I tested it against another thermometer & the readings were identical so I'm very comfortable that it is accurate & the range is very good - easily communicates with the base unit approximately 30' away indoors. Another great feature is that it can be tied off with the included cord/rope preventing it from floating into the skimmer opening.The base is excellent as well. It's nicely sized with a little weight so it doesn't tip over, is very easy to read the indoor temp & humidity, as well as the pool temp - and indicates when it's "cold" etc, with the max/min temp displayed.Setting it up is simple. Install the included batteries in the base unit & set the time (12 or 24 hour). I had to power the thermometer on/off twice for it to transmit initially, but haven't had any problems since then.Overall, I'm very pleased - it's a nice looking thermometer & base that seems to be quite well made & provides the data I want at a glance.
