I was really excited to get this set of needles but I ordered them specifically for the size 4.5mm but mine didn’t come with them so I’m pretty disappointed cause I was really excited to start a new pattern.

I have a set similar to this one, which had directions on attaching the cords to the needles, so I didn't need directions. I am glad they have cord connectors (to lengthen the cords) because that made it easier to switch to a smaller cord as my project got smaller. The aluminum needles are lightweight and comfortable to use. They are best for non-slippery yarns.

I was super excited for these since I've just started knitting. The colors are cute, and the needles seem to attach nice and tight, but where the cable itself, meets the silver end that is threaded into the needle, there's a sharpness that catches on my yarn. It's the worst on the shortest cable.I've already opened and started using the needles, so I can't return them. I used the shortest cable last and that's the worst one, unfortunately. If I used that shortest one first, I'd have already returned them.I'm an advanced crocheter, but new to knitting so I won't be spending a lot of money on fancy interchangeables just yet. I purchased this set due to the low price, but now I'm left with the cable issues.The bag is cute and I really enjoy the colors, but the sharpness near the connectors ruins this set for me. The needles themselves are smooth and stay tightly connected when you use the key which is lovely. There's a large selection of needle sizes, which is nice, as well.

As a beginner this is all I could need! Still getting used to larger projects like blankets, and not twisting the needles and yarn up, but these work fabulously for keeping everything flat while I work. Also love that it has a convenient carrying case and multiple size wires depending on the project.

The needles are a nice purple color and the cords were nice and smooth. The only thing I had an issue with is that on the shortest cord, the metal connection has a raised piece that is sharp and catches the yarn rendering it nearly unusable since it starts to fray the yarn.The pouch is a nice envelope style and the needles are attached to a flat piece that slides into the pouch.It's a good set outside of that minor flaw.
