This fan started grinding loudly and gives the faint whiff of electrical smoke after only two months. Had to call an HVAC guy to replace with a different part.

I don’t like that modern furnaces all have this weak point in their design. The bearings in the impeller tend to overheat and fail after no more than 10 years. I know they are necessary but wish they were a little more bulletproof. Still, I can’t complain about these too much as when installed the furnace goes back to super-quiet performance!

Easy to install works great quietTook about 20 minutes to remove the old one and install this oneMy original blower starter to make a lot of noise, probably a motor bearing failure.This fixed the problem, just make sure its the correct part for your furnace.
