just hook it up & it works!!!! no screwing around with switches & allot of extra cables use your monitors, keyboards and mice plus 1 cat6 & 1 video/usb cable which was included.

Use it everyday for connection to my server room. It is great. I get 1080 res 50 feet away (used Cat6) and it is just as if the servers are in my office. Fast, smooth, dependable.

Great product but power supplies fail quick if overheated. Do not mount the device in enclosed area unless well ventilated.

Used this product to extend the view of a Win7 box to another office 180' away using CAT6. I like the fact that you can leave the local display connected as well and that the KVM has built-in keyboard/mouse contention elimination. That means that if someone is using the local setup, the remote person cannot use the keyboard and mouse until the local person stops using them (and vise-verse). Pretty much a plug-n-play solution that does not require drivers when using a Win7 box.
