Bought so I could use brass bushings on my Bosch router. (The Bosch bushings kit is utter garbage.). Also works with an old porter-Cable router I have. Comes with all the screws for a gazillion different routers, as well as a clever centering βbitβ to make certain base is perfectly centered so the bushingsβ axes are identical to the routerβs axis.

Fit my Freud and an off brand. Plastic cracks if tightened when holes are close together.

I was skeptical when I got this as I have a Performax plunge router bought from Menards. I have not seen that brand listed ANYWHERE when looking for a baseplate to use for using my guide bushings etc. I knew that it has been compared to craftsman which at least used to be a sears brandβ¦. I think. I was very happy that this fits my router just perfect so now I can use my plunge router for this type of woodwork instead of taking my porter cable off of my router table. WAY cheaper than finding a plunge base for my porter cable router. I very highly recommend this baseplate. I was very surprised and happy that it fit so perfectly.

This new Jasper Tools router base plate works great . I needed a new base plate that would allow me to use bushings in order to make dovetail and pin joints.The Jasper tools base plate fit my Porter Cable router just as good as the original base plate that came with the router. Now I can use this router more often because I wonβt have to change out the base plate anymore. I can use it with a bushing or I can use it without the bushing . It made my router more useful and versatile.I would recommend this base plate . It works great.

Great product only wish it was a smaller diameter so it would fit in the case when installed on my router.

As I expected, working with a clear base on my router is so convenient. One can really see clearly into the work material.The plastic looks durable and I did not have any difficulty attaching it to my Bosch 1617 bases. I actually got two: one each for the fixed base and one for the plunge base.My only gripe is that the centering pin is 1/4" diameter. All my bits are 1/2" so I always use the 1/2" collete. To center, I had to install the 1/4" collette adapter.
