I bought this for my work office. It is the prefect size along with the sound quality. Even the lowest setting allows great sound. The reception and clarity is like no other portable radio. We use the plug in option then we don’t have to worry about changing the batteries. Great product for the price

From the inventor of the loudspeaker to this teal green am/fm stereo that works either on 6 C cell batteries or with a power cord that tucks away neatly behind the battery cover. Reception is okay it gets the stations I like so no complaints. Sound is a bit on the bright side and is mono. Overall I couldn't resist because of the price at $15.00 and the color matches the decor in the kitchen. Would recommend if you are just looking for a simple am/fm radio and not looking for any bass. I'd go with the J160 if you want bass and a even smaller form.

The radio was so cute but after 2 months it wouldn't turn on. I missed the 30 day return policy,. I am glad it wasn't expensive!

It's a digital radio with knobs, so tunes as you expect: bloop bloop bloop bloop bloop. Bloop. Bloop Bloop. But it plugs in, cord stores inside, nice size and weight about like a hardcover book, and is cute. OK reception, not good reception, not bad reception, just OK reception. Reception is fine. Teeny FM antenna is pathetic. No idea what is inside for the AM antenna, but it has good directionality which helps for canceling some of the insane RF noise inside of everyone's homes today.Five stars for the overall package of: cheap, sounds fine, works fine, and especially cuteness. If you're looking for a real analog radio, this is not it.

This a fine radio for the right purposes. I have some mental issues and it is difficult for me to sleep without the classical station on just barely enough to hear it. It does play a good deal louder if you want. Bought a black one five years ago and I've kicked that thing down the hall and broken off the antennae and it still worked. Bought the teal one this time because it is easier to see and it has performed great and is very cute.

It has very good sound for a small little radio. Well built with quality. (For people ordering for the color, I would suggest that the color leans a little more to Turquoise than Teal. It's closer to green and Teal is closer to blue) I hope this helps.
