All small camera EVFs are victims of their physical size regardless of pixel density or pixel pitch. They can't match what you see in the larger EVF of a full frame camera.This larger eyecup is better at keeping out ambient light, which degrades apparent brightness and contrast.Makes a significant difference for me.

It was highly rated so I thought I'd give it a try. This eyepiece does not properly fit around the eye and it is very uncomfortable (the edges are quite hard and uncomfortably rest agains the eye). I do not recommend this product and suggest one keep looking for an eyepiece that is of similar shape to the eye socket.

I used this for my Olympus EM1, it fits, but, it's much deeper than the original.Better than nothing.

The rubber eyecup has several, delicate rubber tabs that insert into a plastic frame. While wearing the camera on a camera strap, the eyecup frequently rubs against your clothing.I always have my camera out.Unfortunately, some of these rubber tabs have pulled out of the frame and I have found no good way to get them back in. So, the rubber eyecup has pulled away from the frame.If you use or wear your camera differently, this may never happen. For me, my camera is at the ready always and it's unfortunate the time has just expired to return it. I only used it six times.

First, you need to remove the original eyepiece/viewfinder before replacing with this one.Secondly, I had to remove my flash to do this.After that this product attaches easily.I can't say how durable it is as I just used it the first time.Feels great, even pressed firmly against the eye.I was getting light leaking on the sides of my Olympus EP-16. I was holding my hand up to the side of my eye to block sunlight. I did not have to do that with this product.The eye cup feels flexible so you can hold it where it feels comfortable.After shooting pictures with it, I would definitely buy this again.

This rubber eye cup is exactly what you need if you use the electronic viewfinder to compose or review your images. It does an excellent job of blocking out the stray light coming from the side. Especially useful for eyeglass wearers, but even better if you don't need glasses, as this cups your eyes perfectly, blocking out all stray light.This eyecup fit my Olympus E-M5 MkIII perfectly and seems to attach tightly, unlike some others who said is was not so secure. There are only two minor issues: (1) When wearing glasses, I can just barely see the entire viewfinder, as the eyecup extends out enough to push your eyes back another few millimetres. (2) The rubber really smells. Hopefully this smell will go away soon.

Fits my E-M5 MkII perfectly. Makes my camera so much more comfortable to use, I no longer have to tilt my head to keep my nose off the screen. Also blocks more light outdoors than the original. Soft rubber, with a hard plastic backing plate that clips onto the camera firmly... it's perfect!
