A suitable battery replacement at a good price. The only difficult part is two things: removing the rear cover. You need to carefully separate it but takes patience. Do not use a metal object or poke too far into the case. Just take your time and start at the bottom and sides. It is a good idea to fully discharge your phone battery but not necessary. Do not puncture the battery. Use isopropyl alcohol (syringe, eye dropper) down the sides of the battery to make adhesive less tacky and faster to remove, just take your time and do not use excessive force, apply another small amount of alcohol when necessary. I used double-sided tape rather than what is provided here. You will know what mean when you go to install the battery. Removing the battery will be much easier in the future. If you use tape on the top of the battery it will secure the rear cover when you are done. The second thing is people state that when finished they have the black screen of death. Most likely the screen connector was knocked off during the replacement process. You must drain the battery to 0 then remove the black lens assembly again. Unplug the battery. Reseat the screen connector (it is the left most one with the metal tape). Then reassemble. With your phone unplugged it will now display 0% if you push the power button. Now plug it into the charger and you know the rest.DO NOT RECONNECT THE DISPLAY WITH THE BATTERY PLUGGED IN! The battery should be unplugged before doing ANYTHING other than the lens cover. Enjoy!

It took a few minutes to put in, and it's been working flawlessly. It will power the phone for three or four days when used only to send a few texts a day.

I have a Motorola G Play phone that we use for our home base phone that stays home all the time and connected to the battery charger 24/7. For years I've had other manufacturer brands of cell phones in this exact same setup and never had an issue, but the Motorola phone apparently doesn't have any battery charge limiter so the battery pillowed and actually pushed the rear cover off from the swelling as shown in the photos. Fortunately I caught this by pure coincidence since the phone was also inside a protective case. The AWEDAS JK50 Replacement Battery installed easily with the toolkit provided and has been working great for months now. I also added a timer on the cell phone charger so it no longer charges the battery 24/7 which should eliminate any future battery swelling issues. I do recommend having good lighting when installing this replacement battery and also some Kapton tape to secure the battery and rear camera ribbon cables so they don't pull off the tiny fragile PCB connectors while reassembling the phone or you'll learn the hard way. I also used Kapton tape to secure the rear cover after the battery replacement since no sealer is included in the kit, but it's not a huge deal since the phone is inside a case and the Kapton tape is not visible.

This kit was installed on a Moto G Power 2021 phone. I am an experienced electronics technician and no stranger to working with small components. I had not disassembled a cell phone that was glued together before this. The kit came with some small screw drivers, mostly Torx and one Phillips head that was too sharp to use on my specific phone. The battery was an exact fit, and the little blue prying tool was very useful, as were the guitar pick looking things. It did not come with a "spudger" tool which I wish I would have had. I would suggest ordering a set of cell phone tools here on Amazon as it would have made the job much simpler. The whole thing took me a little over an hour. I found and watched a video on YouTube that detailed how to do it and I am very glad I watched it twice before attempting. You must use a heat source like a heat gun or hair dryer to heat up the glue to disassemble the phones rear cover, and the again to remove the battery inside. The rear cover is easy, heat a little and pry a little, then heat a little more and keep going, you are not going to get it all at once. I used a small handheld heat gun, I am not sure how a hair dryer would work. Once the rear cover is off, I had to remove 11 insanely small screws and pop out the camera board to access the battery connector. When I removed this board I inadvertently disconnected the connector for the cable that connects the screen. This caused me to have to remove the board a second time to figure that out, but only took 5 min. Getting the battery out took me like 20 min. Go VERY slow, heat the screen for a few seconds and gently pry under the battery, then heat again and repeat. Do NOT rush it, if you crack or puncture the battery it can burst or catch fire and wreck your phone too. GO SLOW and it will come out! Do NOT glue the back cover back on until you have turned on and tested the phone with the new battery installed! This kit came with two VERY stick and VERY stretchy pieces of tape that you use to glue the new battery back into the phone with. You really only get one shot at putting them in. I ordered a B7000 adhesive separate from this kit to glue the back cover back on. This kit did not come with anything to glue the cover back on. Use VERY little glue, it only takes a small amount. Go online and watch the video for whatever phone you have, it is worth it. This kit was definitely worth the money as it saved me having to buy a new phone. Go slow, go slow, go slow! You can do this.
