I love this little guy. I've been frustrated with baking beans for 3 people and having too big or too small pots. Like Goldilocks said, "this one is just right.". And I love the color.

Has everything you want. Right size. handles and cover. Oven and dishwasher safe. I know this sounds like a commercial but it’s just what I was looking for. Love it

A lot of crap clay is being called stoneware these days. This is true Stoneware clay high temperature resistance. NOT for STOVETOP. Broiler safe without lid Obviously the lid would defeat the browning purpose.) For stovetop clay, Emile Henry or Extrema are the only thing out there.

I have a large immediate family, and like many, I found myself hosting Thanksgiving for the first time ever this year. I have a few large casserole dishes, but I needed something slightly smaller for all of those Thanksgiving sides. These were absolutely perfect! These are slightly smaller than my Corning Ware dishes (1 qt vs. 1.5-2.5 qts). They're very pretty, too; the color is so warm and inviting. Some things to note:- These don't stack well because of the handles. That doesn't bother me, but I could see that being a problem if you have limited storage space.- While I used these for side dishes for many people, I could imagine these being a very good size for normal casseroles when you only have to feed a couple of people.
