These are so easy to put together, peel the film off crystal clear plastic. Nice little lock, not to big and not to small for my jumpers..

Feels sturdy and the acrylic is crystal clear but there is no top opening so trying to fit in pieces of cork bark, or other furniture that is taller than the opening but not the enclosure itself, is impossible.

The enclosure itself is great and will work perfect for a juvenile jumping spider. Seems sturdy and has a good amount of ventilation holes so all in all a good product. My only complaint is that despite it being packaged well, a portion of the acrylic side was detached from the front under the door and cracked. I circled the area that was disconnected in my photo. The only reason I didn't return this is because it was a small enough break that I could fix it using Gorilla Glue Clear Grip (which is safe for spiders as long as it has 48hrs to cure and offgas). My only recommendation would be to really examine the product before putting your spider inside. And thoroughly wash it with some dawn dish soap beforehand too because this acrylic really stunk before I cleaned it.UPDATE: So I got the enclosure all decorated and have my new spider in it. So far all is well and the seal that I repaired is holding up extremely well. My only complaint would have to be that this specific enclosure has a hard time retaining humidity. I like to keep mine between 70-80% for my spider species but unless I keep a cotton ball soaked in water at the bottom of the enclosure, everything evaporates too quickly and humidity goes down to around 50-65%. I have sphagnum moss in the enclosure and mist daily so this is an important factor to note when purchasing this product as tropical species definitely need that higher humidity and this enclosure makes it difficult to retain. If you have the ability to have a humidifier near the enclosure or don't mind the cotton ball situation then this works but bioactive is not an option since this enclosure doesn't seem to be built for that (mine specifically isn't waterproof thanks to that spot I had to repair but it doesn't look like the seals are high enough quality even if that repair spot wasn't an issue).Overall still recommend this enclosure for anyone needing a small one on a budget. Just keep all these facts in mind when purchasing.

This enclosure if the perfect size for my jumping spider. With the open hatch being at the front of the enclosure it works great in being able to feed my spider without having to open a top hatch which can mess up their sleep sack they usually make at the top of the enclosure. With the side hatch I'm able to feed him and clean it out without having to worry about messing up his space.

I have purchased multiple terrariums and this one is my favorite. It's one of the middle-sized ones that I have so I won't be able to put anything too big, but it's definitely big enough to put a small creature or two in there. I also love the magnetic closing door. Most of the terrariums I have purchased have this little rotating locking mechanism but this magnetic door is a nice feature. And one of the other best parts about this one? It's already assembled. So you don't have to peel off the annoying thin plastic film off the sides, you don't have to use little rubber bands to hold the pieces together, and you don't have to worry about leaks on this one because the edges are all sealed. This is great. If you're looking for a small but not terribly small terrarium, this is the one. Don't sleep on it.

This easy-open and easy-clean sturdy enclosure is perfect for jumping spiders or arboreal tarantula slings (babies). The magnet latch is secure and stable, leaving no gaps, although the holes may cause small feeder insects like fruit flies to escape.PROS:+ Sturdy, Stable Design: The side walls and door of this enclosure is well made, leaving no gaps or weak points for easy breaking. The door closes well and the extra space at the bottom provides a waterproof base to keep substrate fresh and humid for more tropical-loving critters. The door does not wobble when closed and fixes well with the strong magnet. No escapes here!+ Great Size for Insects: This enclosure is perfect for more than just spiders. I have two and used one as well to raise a mantis when my tarantula sling grew larger and needed to move. The ventilation holes offer ample air flow for my critters while also offering locations for mantids to cling.CONS:- Vent Holes May Be Large For Some: My jumpers feed on flightless fruit flies. Some of the flies are small enough to exit the ventilation holes (but not the jumper). I have found that most pinhead crickets cannot escape. Taping a bit of mesh or tissue paper over the holes also helped me prevent fly escapes.

I'm in the process of getting a jumping spider and wanted to work on getting the terrarium set up first. This particular enclosure is really great. It is on the smaller side, so I suspect it would work better for a smaller jumping spider, rather than a Regal jumping spider (which is what I originally had my eye on). That said, I think it would also work well as a temporary enclosure for a Regal jumping spider if you need to clean their main enclosure. The magnetic door is very strong, so I have no concerns with it accidentally falling open and letting loose my future friend. It's not so strong that it's too difficult to open, though, so I think it'll be pretty seamless to open quickly to put in crickets or spray with water and then close again.Be aware that, because it's on the smaller side, you'll have to be creative with decor. You'll see in one of my photos that I have some cute mushroom decor/ledges, but it takes up a little too much space. I'll probably remove at least one of the ledges so that the enclosure doesn't feel too claustrophobic. Overall, this is a great quality enclosure for the price!
