This is solid steel bracket, great for that radio antenna to broadcast with. I think it is going to be highly resistant from torsion from your antenna whipping back and forth as you ride over the hills and dales. It's pretty easy to install; the instructions are on the product page.A must have for those at the crossroads of Jeep drivers and GRMS/Ham radio operators.

I bought this mount when I came to the terrible realization that my Jeep Wrangler did not have metal in the correct places to use the magnetic mount that came with my CB antenna. Who knew! I then had to scramble to find this one. It was reasonably priced, arrived as expected, and worked great. Highly recommend.

This mount is similar to other brands priced in the same range. It does fit TJ and JK using the OE hardware. Will fit JL/JT if using a longer bolt than the one provided. It is very sturdy, fits perfectly and allows use of a VHF/UHF antenna. When mounted, the placement is secure and out of the way. A short antenna is hidden out of drivers line of sight. A longer antenna is thin enough to not cause any issues, other than tree branches and obstacles.
