This adapter brings me so much joy. It perfectly wraps around my portable monitor so that the USB cord is no longer visible from the front. It probably shouldn’t cost as much, but I suppose it’s worth it because it simply works.

This device works when not used at boot. Meaning I had to plug it in after my computer was on and past BIOS. If I tried to turn on the computer while this was plugged in the system would crash at MOBO logo. I get the odd feeling there is more to this device... I am just a little stitious so I won't be returning it, just taking the L on $8.

Perfect!I initially was annoyed because the adapter seemed to block the monitor but, dummy me discovered they supply both an inward and outward adapter, wick is just perfect for my needs. I’m buying a second set because I have multiple 16 inch external display s for my MBP Pro M3 Max.
