I bought these connectors to repair a speaker. It was easy to solder the wire to it. Nice snug fit into my stereo speaker jack. Plastic sleeve supports the wire well, a good design.

Pretty simple item, it works and they seem to be constructed OK.Keep you temps down on your soldering iron or you will melt the plastic holding the barrels.
