Our cat will not play by himself with loose toys. We have wands that he quickly got bored with. I decided to take a chance with the Kats'N Us Realistic Rabbit Fur Cat Toy Wand. I have never seen our chase, jump, and catch like this. He absolutely loves it and moves the wand himself to indicate to us he wants to play. I cannot guarantee that this works for all cats, but it has certainly put a spring in my cat's step.

I adopted a 2-yo semi-feral cat last month, and I've struggled finding toys that she engages with. I tried a few wands in pet stores (feather wands, ones with a stuffed tail and ribbons at the end, ones with catnip, etc.) but she would just sit and watch me try to get her to play. I bought a kit of assorted cat toys and noticed she liked to carry around the toy mice in her mouth, so I thought I'd give this one a try. The minute I put it on the floor and she saw it move, she's been glued to it. She immediately perked her ears up and chased it like a normal cat! She even carries it around the house (wand and all lol) when I forget to put it away after playing. I find it all over the house lol. She's in love with it! Maybe because it reminds her of her feral days chasing mice outside. And as most pet parents know, it's much more cost effective to buy pet stuff online than in stores. The only downside is it took a week to be delivered, but it was so worth the wait! Happy cat mom here 🙂 Highly recommend!

My cats love it!! It’s my male cats favorite toy and he’ll grab it carry it around everywhere. The little mouse has a bell which the cats really love!

Unfortunately, I let my three miniature dogs. They tore the tail off in the eyes. my three Maine coons just love it order Another one for the other other part of the house you start jingling those in the cats really come running and I want to get A four pack of the rabbit hair mice. After they catch it, they are really so proud, caring it off like a real mouse and then a flip it right out in the air.

This is by far, the best cat toy I have found in years! My Egyptian Mau kitten plays with this on her own for an hour at a time when I wedge the stick under something at least 3 feet off the floor. At night we take it up to our room where she will run and jump chasing the mouse for another 30 to 40 minutes before going to bed. If you have an active cat or kitten, get them this toy.

It's a cute toy. I can recommend it. It has little shaky things inside that make a noise. It also came with a bell, but I thought to myself, "Well, my cat didn't seem to like the other toys I recently bought that also had loud noises like bells inside balls, so maybe I'll just cut off the bell for this little furry toy." So I took some scissors to it and cut off the bell. A day later, when the rod and metal string came loose from the toy, I lookd at it and thought, "Ohhh, I see. The bell was holding it togther, inside. Oops." haha, so now the toy is just a cute little fur-thing that I can throw for my cat, separate from the wand, like throwing a ball for him. He is still interested in it. I still think it's a good toy. I might jerry-rig this thing back together somehow.

While my kitten did play with this, I bought it to replace another fur mouse. This mouse is tiny!! The wand is short... the bell and line that comes with it are fine. Line is metal which is great. The mouse is fur... Just wish it had been bigger than it actually was.
